Forests are a natural resource. It goes without saying that there is no amount of forest land in Bangladesh. In the meantime, a few forests have survived by fighting with the people. Natural forests are being destroyed again due to artificial forests. The Sundarbans is the largest forest in Bangladesh. Madhupur forest is a forest formed during Pleistocene. Anyone can be fascinated by the purity of this forest. Madhupur forest covers an area of ​​16,107 hectares in the west of Muktagachha upazila of Mymensingh district.
Although the forest is known as Madhupur forest, there is no forest in Madhupur. The forest is in Rasulpur. Location of Rasulpur Shawl Forest with several parts of Mymensingh and Tangail districts. There are a total of 05 range offices in Madhupur forest. Rasulpur forest is 14 km west of Muktagachha. The southern part is Mymensingh Forest Department and the northern part is Tangail Forest Department. At present the area of ​​Madhupur forest is 21 thousand acres.
 
If you go to the front from Rasulpur Range Office, you will see big shawl trees. If you are lucky, if you go a little further, you can see a swarm of monkeys and Hanuman. After going several kilometers you will find a deer breeding center. The deer was fed after 12 noon. There are about 100 deer here. There is also a deer observation tower. The mind will want to get lost in the green cosmos of the forest by climbing the tower. Rare species of golden langur monkeys live in Rasulpur forest. The small brown monkeys are found in the only Rasulpur forest in Bangladesh.
There are various medicinal plants and herbs in the main Madhupur forest. Bahera, White Jhiga, Pitraj, Anaigota, Wild Yellow, Kaikka, Sindur, Gandhi, Gajari, Kanchanpata, Babri, Butum, Wild Cane, Amalki, Haritaki, Bahera are some unnamed trees. Not only trees but all the beautiful vines are covered with shrubs all over the forest.
The Garo tribes were the first to cultivate pineapple in Madhupur. Pineapple is one of the crops of Madhupur. A large part of the Garos of Bangladesh live in Madhupur.
